19, 2000 Note: There's
an angel who walks among us in Elsie Porter Schaben.
But, angel or not, she is keeping me up late at night.
She sent most of the pictures yesterday (they meant a great
deal to me) and in the middle of the night I got the idea to
put it on a family album web site. She is the catalyst
for the start of this project. Elsie's faith, her
vitality, her joy, and her unconditional love of others are
honored. And when I grow up I want to be like
that.
And the most important lesson from Elsie? That
"forgiveness... is a choice..."
Elsie, If I'd known there were so many relatives, I would
have planned more time.
